Emily Yamaguchi is a graphic designer and photographer based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. Born in New York and raised in the Southern California music scene, her work is shaped by alternative culture, a strong DIY ethos, and a collaborative approach.

Her practice spans editorial design, artist’s books, branding and visual identity, as well as photography, with a focus on the creative industries, contemporary culture, and visual communication. Her work balances conceptual clarity with a strong sensitivity to context and visual narrative.
Experience
A California Arts Scholar and a graduate in Graphic Design from ArtEZ University in the Netherlands, she has contributed to editorial and design publications, and brings extensive experience photographing international touring artists, with a sharp eye for atmosphere, audience, and moment.
